 How to Keep Motivated in Weight Loss Program IIIf you want to stick with a healthy weight loss program, you need to consider one very important thing – how to keep motivated in the progress of weight loss program.  Usually, people will feel so excited and motivated at the initial stage of a program, and they tend to follow strictly according to the weight loss plan.  However, when the excitement fades gradually, normal people will start to cheat a little bit by eating more or exercise less.  Sometimes, weight loss plateau also make people losing confidence on their weight loss program.

It is always recommended to do some action to prevent the situation mentioned above.  The best way is always keep motivated in any healthy weight loss program.  Besides keeping a daily eating record as mentioned in my weight loss program article, you can refer below few methods to keep you motivated in a healthy weight loss program.

1) Find a Weight Loss Program Buddy
Find a buddy is always highly recommended in a healthy weight loss program.  In fact, it can be the secret behind the success of personal training.  If you have a commitment that involves another people in a weight loss program, you are more accountable, and most probably you will actually DO it.  By saying out the goals you want to achieve to another person, your words are given a greater reality than just make a vague promise to yourself.

 How to Keep Motivated in Weight Loss ProgramIt is not a difficult thing for a person to decide to join a weight loss program.  The most challenge part is how to keep motivated in the weight loss program, especially when you come to a stage when plateaus occur in your weight loss program.

Besides understand the reason for weight loss plateau, you may take early arrangement by developing a strategy for the whole healthy weight loss program while you are still in your losing phase.  Remember, the earlier you start practicing them, the higher chances of your successful rate in your healthy weight loss program.

a type 2 diabetes Reduce Type 2 Diabetes Risk through Healthy Weight LossOne of the risks of being overweight is type 2 diabetes, which accounts for 90% to 95% of all diabetes cases.  In type 2 diabetes, our body cells gradually become resistant to insulin over time, as a result of lack of exercise, poor diet habit and overweight.  Luckily, we can reduce the risk of type 2 diabetes through healthy weight loss based on below reasons:

1) Never skip breakfast
One of the healthy diet tips recommended in a weight loss program is never skip breakfast.  According to a 8-year study from Harvard, it reveals that people who eat breakfast are half as likely to develop insulin resistance, and subsequently reduce the risk for type 2 diabetes.

2) Increase of lean muscle mass and decrease in body fat
Exercise is always recommended for healthy weight loss purpose.  Studies show that weight training alone will help in increasing glucose uptake by the muscles and help the body to store glucose too.  If you still remember in my weight loss article, it mentions that muscles require replenishment of glucose after exercise in order to rebuild the muscle tissues.  So, exercise can help pulling the glucose out of the bloodstream and thus help in reducing the risk of type 2 diabetes.  Apart from that, when you boost up your metabolism through resistant and strength training, the efficiency of insulin function can be improved.
