In fact, there are many conditions that can undermine the heart’s ability to do its job.  These include coronary heart disease, cardiomyopathy, arrhythmia, and heart failure.  Among them, coronary heart disease and heart failure are risks which are related to obesity.

Heart Disease caused by Obesity

1) Coronary heart disease

Coronary heart disease is a disease of the blood vessels of the heart, known as “coronary arteries”. Serve as a precursor to heart attack, this disease, or atherosclerosis, is the most common blood vessel disease, caused by the build-up of the fatty deposits (sticky plaque) in the arteries. This causes the arteries to get narrow. As the coronary arteries narrow, blood flow to the heart can slow down or stop.  The theory of this heart disease is simple.
